Robert Thacher
President

Robert Thacher is the President of Colonial IT and is responsible for all technology and operational areas of the company. He has fifteen years of solid IT experience and eight years in wireless communications environments, including serving as Chief Technology Officer for Global Wireless Data and President, CEO and CIO for Karbon Systems, the first managed wireless services company in the US and a nationwide distributor of high end wireless devices. Before founding Karbon Systems, he served as the Director of Professional Services for WolfeTech Corporation, a leading provider of wireless Internet access solutions. Robert founded the Professional Services division in 1999, which became WolfeTech's largest revenue generator. He has the proven ability to implement and manage technology-business solutions that produce a positive return on investment for businesses.

Kevin Blue
Vice President of IT

Kevin Blue is Vice President of Information Technologies for Colonial IT and is responsible for all service delivery areas of the company. He has over fifteen years experience in the Information Technology field particularly in data, voice, and video networking. Starting as a C, COBOL and Visual Basic developer, Kevin found his niche in network and security design, implementing, and supporting multi-vendor multi-protocol technologies. He has worked in many capacities for fortune 500 companies such as Gateway, Lockheed Martin, and EDS. He has been a Senior Engineer and Advisor for numerous security, wireless, network, and server technologies. He carries multiple certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, Nortel, Comptia, and Novell.

Bernice Gardner
Controller

Bernice Gardner is responsible for all financial aspects of the company. Graduating from Citrus College, California in 1990 with a degree in business administration, she has spent the past 20 years serving as a controller and accounting specialist for various companies, including Karbon Systems and Sundance Spas. Her financial career experience focuses primarily on corporate accounting for companies with revenues up to $30 million.
